What is Peppol?
Peppol (Pan-European Public Procurement On-Line) is a set of technical specifications that enable businesses to exchange electronic documents — such as invoices and orders — over the Peppol network. It is widely used across Europe for B2B and government (B2G) e-invoicing.
What format does this produce?
The output is Peppol BIS Billing 3.0, which is based on the European standard EN 16931 and uses UBL 2.1 XML. It is the most widely accepted e-invoice format across the Peppol network.
